Homestead Gluten Free

Our children’s dream: a soft yummy gluten free roll that would stand up to a sandwich and the sloppiest, most delicious burger they could build.  Our nightmare: There was no such product.

Having wasted way too much time, energy and money on cookbooks, recipes, mixes, frozen and packaged products that just didn’t fill the need, Homestead Gluten Free, LLC was formed in August 2009 by two “desperate housewives” – two housewives desperate enough to take matters into their own hands.  The result was the creation of a gluten free roll so delicious, so satisfying and so convenient that it finally fulfilled all of our dreams.

After much discussion, research and testing, we decided that the best way to share the dream is to offer our Soft ‘n Hearty Gluten Free “Easy Roll Mix” to the rest of the gluten free community.  It is truly what we’ve all been waiting for.  Finally, a roll that is easy to make from an all natural mix! It looks, tastes and feels like a conventional wheat roll.  With this mix on your pantry shelf, you have the convenient choice to bake fresh when you want, what you want, as the batter can be shaped to suit your needs into sandwich rolls, hamburger or hot dog buns, dinner rolls, etc.  Bake fresh or bake ahead and freeze.  There is no need to reheat or toast, just defrost and enjoy.
